Uponor has named Bill Gray as vice president of Sales for Uponor North America, effective June 6, 2011. For the past three years as general manager for Uponor Ltd. in Canada, Gray was responsible for the leadership of all Uponor Canadian operations, including sales, marketing, demand management, and technical and customer service. In his expanded role, he will lead all Uponor North American sales efforts in the U.S. and Canada as well as continue to oversee Canadian operations.

"Bill's knowledge of our products, systems and go-to-market strategy in addition to his demonstrated expertise in building strong relationships internally and externally makes him the perfect candidate for this position," says Anders Tollsten, executive vice president, Uponor North America. "Under his leadership, Bill's team in Canada consistently performed well during the current market downturn, and we are confident he, along with our current sales teams, will accelerate our growth and success throughout our North American region."

Gray is a seasoned veteran in the HVAC and industrial supply industries with more than 16 years of sales and marketing experience, with bachelor degrees in arts and commerce. He will be based in Apple Valley, MN, Uponor North America's headquarters.
