WaterFurnace Announces
Geothermal Upgrade Event

Also qualifies for federal tax credit

Article Tools

A new program from WaterFurnace International, Inc., a leading manufacturer of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional geothermal heat pumps, offers up to $2,000 in rebates to homeowners who upgrade existing geothermal heating and cooling equipment with new WaterFurnace Envision™, Synergy3D or Envision Series Split (and Air Handler) units on or before March 31, 2011.

The Geothermal Upgrade Event from WaterFurnace offers:
• $2,000 to homeowners who upgrade WaterFurnace equipment that is between 1 and 10 years old.
• $1,000 to homeowners who upgrade WaterFurnace equipment that is 11+ years old.
• $1,000 to homeowners who upgrade a brand of geothermal equipment other than WaterFurnace.

“The new equipment also qualifies for a federal tax credit equal to 30% of installation costs, making this the perfect time to upgrade to WaterFurnace,” says WaterFurnace Director of Marketing Tim Litton. Under the provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, homeowners who install a geothermal system before Dec. 31, 2016, can take advantage of a federal renewable energy tax credit of 30% of the total investment of the system. This tax incentive is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2009.

WaterFurnace Envision

Sources say WaterFurnace Envision products set the industry standard for efficiency, reliability and quiet operation. Envision units use ozone-safe R-410A refrigerant to meet the most stringent requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Coated air coils add durability and longer life, and a sophisticated microprocessor control sequences all components during operation for optimum performance, while providing easy-to-use troubleshooting features with fault lights and on-board diagnostics.

WaterFurnace Synergy 3D

The Synergy3D is the geothermal equivalent of a boiler, furnace and air conditioner – all in a single unit. Units are available in four vertical sizes and feature Copeland dual-capacity scroll compressors for outstanding performance and reliability. Synergy3D units use environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant, and variable-speed ECM blower motors ensure quiet operation.

WaterFurnace Envision Series Split

Envision Splits are designed for indoor or outdoor installations, and are connected to an indoor air handler (or fossil fuel furnace) via refrigerant lines and control wiring. Split units are perfect for installations lacking in indoor utility space as the compressor unit can be placed away from the air handling component. Easily accessible controls and connections make this unit simple to install in a wide variety of applications.
