Past ACCA Chairman, Business Owner Marvin Kanze Dies at 87

Marvin E. Kanze, a past chairman of the The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) died on December 15 at the age of 87.

Kanze served as ACCA's chief elected officer (a position now known as chairman) in 1982. A career businessman, Kanse started his heating and air conditioning business — Marvin E . Kanze Inc., Havertown, PA — in 1953. His son Aaron serves as president, and another son, Jonathan, has also joined the company.

A memorial service was held on December 17 near Kanze's home in King of Prussia, PA.

Kanze is survived by his wife of 67 years, Myra, four children, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family asks that donations be made to Montgomery Hospice, 25 W. Fornace St., Norristown, PA, 19401, or to the charity of choice.
