Rogers Joins ACCA Staff

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), the nation's largest association of indoor environmental systems professionals, has announced that Emily Rogers joined the national staff as the Director of Energy Policy on March 14, 2011.

Rogers previously worked for the National Conference of State Legislatures as the Assistant to the Director, Foundation Programs and Leaders' Services. She has also worked for Colorado Governor’s office and former Colorado Congressman, Joel Hefley.

“We are excited to have Emily joining our staff,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA’s president and CEO. “We created this position, because we know that ACCA needs to have a dedicated person focusing on the various energy programs that are being developed in Washington, and across the country, to ensure that our members understand the programs and are fairly represented in them. Emily’s past experience makes her a great fit at ACCA to meet these needs.”

In her new position, Rogers will monitor federal and state energy retrofit incentive programs and promote the role of skilled contractors and HVAC system replacement in those programs.

Emily can be reached at 703-824-8858 or emily.rogers@acca.org.
