Building Performance Institute Announces Latest Classes

The Building Performance Institute (BPI), Ballston Spa, NY, has announced a new slate of classes available at various locations in the Eastern U.S. or online.


Topics include airflow, R-410A refrigerant (online), Mitsubishi City Multi systems, and principles of building science (online), and industrial refrigeration.

- City-Multi Systems by Mitsubishi, Tuesday, Feb. 10. Presented by Steve Post, Meier Supply. This session will cover the Mitsubishi City Multi system, a two pipe HVAC system that allows simultaneous heating and cooling in up to 48 separate zones.  This training will be oriented toward residential multifamily, commercial and industrial applications. It will cover certain aspects of basic application, design, installation and service.

The session will be presented at Meier Supply, 20 Kairnes St., Albany, NY. Food and networking begins at 5:30. Session begins at 6 p.m. To register, call 518/309-3415 or email to info@hmrses.org.

- Airflow Service Seminar, by Gary Iacouzze, McGill Airflow; Mar. 21., Embassy Suites, Piscataway NJ. This course is NATE-recognized for six credits toward recertification; www.rses-gsc.org/GSSS.html.

-Industrial Refrigeration seminar, presented by Garth Denison of CMS.will be held April 18, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Select/Crown Plaza, Bensalem/Trevose, PA; 610/731-7966. This course is NATE-recognized for eight hours of NATE recertification credits.
