Kevin Gill is SMACNA Contractor of the Year

Kevin Gill, president of McCusker-Gill Inc., Hingham, MA, has received the SMACNA Contractor of the Year award from the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association.

"Kevin championed the cause of elevating his fellow contractors to the level of high-performing contractor," says SMACNA president Jack Desmond.

Gill took a leading role in publishing the book, Creating the High-Performing Contracting Company-Best Practices for SMACNA Contractors.

"The new book is a hands-on primer for management to use in assessing a company's approach to leadership, planning, building customer relationships, monitoring business operations and evaluating the quality of financial and operational results," Desmond explains.

Gill’s service to SMACNA also includes membership on the Board of Directors from 1999 to 2003, and active roles on the International Training Institute Board of Trustees and the National Energy Management Institute Committee.
