The Chiller Systems Group held its spring meeting in April in Chicago, IL. The meeting was co-hosted by AMS Mechanical Systems and ATOMATIC Mechanical Services. More than 100 independent chiller service contractor members and guests attended.

The meeting included technical roundtable discussions on Micro Control Systems (MCS) control retrofits, Rockwell drives, chiller overhaul best practices, selling to and expanding preventive maintenance customers, and service handheld technology.

Technical and product presentations were provided by sponsors Micro Control Systems (MCS), McQuay International, Johnson Controls (York), MagLev-Multistack, Financial Risk Solutions, Bitzer Compressors, and Air Advice. The Group also conducted its third meeting of the "Controls Group," to facilitate technology sharing and best practices for building automation systems within the Chiller Systems Group.
