Tozour Energy Systems, a provider of HVAC and building automation systems, announces their continued dedication to conserving energy by becoming an ENERGY STAR® Service and Product Provider (SPP) partner for Commercial and Industrial Service. By taking this step, Tozour Energy Systems joins the 15,000+ companies that have committed to improving the energy efficiency of their products, homes and businesses.

Tozour Energy Systems’ partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) ENERGY STAR means that the company will continue working to improve the energy efficiency and performance of its clients’ facilities. As an ENERGY STAR SPP, Tozour Energy Systems has committed to setting goals to improve energy efficiency by 10% or more and implementing energy-saving measures, in both its headquarters facility and portfolio of clients.

In its headquarters facility, Tozour Energy Systems implemented specific energy usage strategies that allowed the building to earn the ENERGY STAR distinction. The facility uses ENERGY STAR equipment and appliances, energy efficient lighting and controls, and building performance reporting. Additionally, Tozour Energy Systems’ Sustainability Services Center developed detailed dashboards and reporting tools to measure and validate deliverable energy reduction outcomes that don't compromise the comfort of people working in the building.

“We’re constantly delivering energy-efficient solutions to our clients, and need to operate by example,” said Kevin Duffy, President of Tozour Energy Systems. “By becoming an ENERGY STAR SPP, we are able to help our clients further improve energy performance in their buildings.”

Companies interested in applying to become an ENERGY STAR partner are judged on the energy performance standards of its workspaces. To qualify for the ENERGY STAR designation, buildings must earn a score of 75 or higher on the EPA’s 1-100 energy performance scale, indicating that their facility performs better than at least 75 percent of similar buildings nationwide. Tozour Energy Systems’ headquarters in King of Prussia, PA., received a score of 85%, proving that the company is on the front line of driving energy savings.

In the last year, ENERGY STAR partners have reduced greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those from 33 million cars. Additionally, these initiatives have delivered $18 billion last year in energy and cost savings to businesses, organizations and consumers across the country.
