Ideal Clamp Announces Price Increase in Response to Rising Steel Costs

Article Tools

Ideal Clamp Products, Inc. announced an impending price increase on all IDEAL-TRIDON products in response to the escalating price of steel in the global market, effective May 1, 2011.

“Over the past few months the cost of steel has soared,” said Mike Reese, President for Ideal. “We’ve been successful in offsetting a significant portion of these costs, enabling us to keep the price increase to a minimum. And despite the fact that this trend is expected to continue, it is our intent to stabilize our pricing at these levels for the balance of 2011.

“We’re hoping this advanced notice will allow our customers to smoothly incorporate these increases into their price planning.”

The price increase will vary based on market, volume and products affected. Detailed pricing information will be available no later than April 1, 2011.
