Shaw Mechanical Services is proud to announce that it received a 2011 Carrier Corp. President’s Award, one of the manufacturer’s highest honors for its local dealers. Shaw Mechanical Services was selected and honored at an April 1 ceremony in Las Vegas. David L. Shaw, its President, accepted the Award on behalf of Shaw Mechanical Services.

“Carrier President’s Award recipients focus on delivering exceptional products and service to customers while appropriately leveraging the value and trust behind America’s first, true HVAC brand. Their success often exceeds our expectations. It’s our privilege to honor them,” said Bob McDonough, president, Residential and Commercial Systems, Carrier Corp. Winners will enjoy added rewards in the form of support from the Carrier family exclusive to President’s Award recipients, and therefore, continue to shape, grow and succeed in their business.”

Shaw Mechanical Services started as a commercial HVAC company in 2001. In 2008 it added a residential division. Since that time the residential division has grown to the point where it is now a Central Florida leader in sales of Carrier HVAC systems. Shaw estimates that since opening its residential division, it has installed numerous residential systems, in addition to its service and repair of residential HVAC systems. Ken Eggert, its residential manager, who creates raving fans with every installed system, says that receiving the Carrier President’s award will be “huge” in continuing the growth of Shaw’s residential division.
