WaterFurnace Tees It Up for USO; Makes Cleantech 10 List

The leadership team at WaterFurnace International, Inc., donated the proceeds from its 21st Annual Supplier Golf Outing to the United Service Organization (USO) of Indiana.

The funds will be used to purchase new computers at the Camp Atterbury Community Center, providing the troops with Internet access.

In other news, for the third consecutive year, Corporate Knights, Inc. and Cleantech Group, LLC have named WaterFurnace Renewable Energy, Inc. to the Corporate Knights Cleantech 10 list of the top 10 publicly traded Cleantech companies in Canada.

The Cleantech 10 list ranks technology-driven growth companies that significantly impact resource efficiency and the environment.

“We're thrilled to again be honored with the Cleantech 10 award,” said Tom Huntington, president and chief executive officer, WaterFurnace International, Inc.

The Cleantech Group applied 18 screening criteria to all companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Emphasis was placed on percentage of revenues or income from clean technology business, strategy, management, financial strength and sector leadership. Other criteria included growth, earnings, liquidity, capitalization, technology/intellectual property and overall impact.
