Southland Industries, one of the nation's largest design-build mechanical contracting firms, recently welcomed Natasha Shah on board as vice president of energy services. Bringing with her years of experience in federal energy and environmental development ensuring solutions have met and exceeded client energy requirements, Shah has a deep understanding of the national competitive marketplace.
As Southland prepares to expand its energy services capabilities, Shah will lead the company’s efforts by focusing on the strategic implementation of Southland’s energy services within core markets as well as national opportunities.
“We are delighted to have Natasha join Southland and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead, as she leads our efforts in energy services,” states CEO Ted Lynch. “With extensive expertise in both the commercial and federal energy markets, we know she will quickly become a valued resource within our growing company,” he adds.
"I’m very excited about joining the Southland team,” Shah says. “Southland’s strong Design/Build expertise combined with execution in the energy services market will provide customers the sustainability, quality, and expertise needed for this growing market," she continued.
Shah has a Bachelor of Science in Biomechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and has also achieved LEEP AP certification. She has been recognized with numerous awards throughout her previous positions with a national provider of energy and environmental solutions.
