More than 150 HVAC and plumbing contractors gathered at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for the 2014 International Roundtable meeting, which is produced and hosted by the Service Roundtable. The theme this year was "Play to Win," which fits quite nicely with the backdrop of the Las Vegas strip. Sessions began early and ran all day, focusing on technician hiring, retention, and training. That's called working hard.
Evenings were filled with two great parties, including one atop the Stratosphere where Service Roundtable CEO Matt Michel leapt from a platform over 900 feet above the ground to demonstrate the art of playing hard!
Sessions were followed up by a day out at Hoover Dam and at a shooting range called Bullets and Burgers — where contractors had an opportuity to learn about and fire a variety of sub machine guns, machine guns, sniper rifles, and hand guns. Some even got to fire a grenade launcher!! All that shooting lead to eating some of the best cheeseburgers west of the Mississippi. What a fantastic way to end a great conference.
Here are some photos from that last day. Enjoy.

The Browning .50 caliber machine gun has been used extensively as a vehicle weapon and for aircraft armament by the United States from the 1920s to today.
