Energy-efficient Home Comfort Product Makes Central HVAC Systems More Effective

AirFlow™ Technology introduces the AirFlow Breeze Ultra register vent booster fan with remote control. This quieter and more powerful version of the original AirFlow Breeze fits vents in the floor, wall or ceiling, and enhances the temperature in “problem rooms” — where temperatures typically do not match thermostat settings. In special installations, the AirFlow Breeze Ultra can also assist in moving air up, down, from room to room or level to level; spreading cool air from window air conditioners or split systems; or spreading warm air from wood stoves and other heat sources.

According to company sources, the Ultra is whisper-quiet, has adjustable fan speeds, uses long-life brushless direct current fans, is controlled by a thermostat and, when set, automatically turns on and off.

Wago Launches Free Online CAD Portal

Wago Corporation has launched Wago/PARTcommunity Portal for free access to Wago's 17,000+ parts catalog. As an online portal, Wago/PARTcommunity provides direct downloads of 2D/3D CAD drawings, product information and PDF data sheets. A multilingual user interface provides information in English, Spanish, French or nine other languages.

For expedited part selection and specification, users register once, and log-in information is retained for future use. Wago/PARTcommunity then guides users through selection of a default CAD format (2D, 3D, native, or neutral). The format can change to suit individual parts. A selection pane flanks the main preview window, allowing users to easily toggle between automation, electronic interface, and interconnect products.

Exhausto Model IPVB In-line Power Venter

Exhausto introduces a new patent-pending line of in-line draft inducers, the IPVB Power Venter. The IPVB model is a true inline fan that can be installed in a vertical or horizontal stack section. It's available in four sizes with capacities up to 6,000 CFM. It can be installed indoors and outdoors. Made in 316 stainless steel the IPVB is designed to provide proper draft for condensing and non-condensing commercial boilers and water heaters. It integrates easily with most chimney and stack systems using flanged or slip fittings. The drive unit can be removed without disconnecting the fan housing from the stack system.

The Bluestone 873 LED Pro Light is a new offering in the LED light tool market. Made with a sturdy aluminum, water-resistant housing and an anti-slip grip design, it features easy twist ring control for high/low modes and 4× spot or 1× flood operation. Fieldpiece Instruments Introduces New Wireless Refrigerant Scale

Fieldpiece Instruments introduces the SRS2 wireless refrigerant scale. The only scale of its kind, the SRS2 delivers accurate measurements, and is protected by a heavy-duty design.

The SRS2 features a wireless remote with a bright blue backlight for use in poor lighting conditions. A flip-up magnetic “hat” allows technicians to hang the remote at eye level while charging or recovering. The heavy duty platform is constructed of solid aluminum with ruggedized rubber bumpers. A diamond plate rubber pad holds refrigerant bottles firmly, and the remote stores conveniently in the bottom of the platform.

The SRS2 features push button zeroing (tare) and synchronizing between the remote and the platform. The remote control remembers the last zero point, even after powering on and off. When the remote is powered off, the platform automatically goes into standby. Additionally, a 33-ft. range gives technicians options while working.
