Emerson Offers Solution to Qualify Service Dispatch Calls
Emerson Climate Technologies has released a new service called Smart Dispatch, which drives maintenance savings by reducing unnecessary dispatch events. The service confirms the necessity and severity of the dispatch call. Smart Dispatch systematically filters, ranks, and remotely manages alarms through a proprietary process developed by Emerson’s industry experts. When an alarm or notification occurs, Emerson’s ProAct® Service Center technicians remotely investigate site and equipment conditions and determine the best course of action based upon the customer's business practices. Based on alarm legitimacy and urgency, technicians can remotely resolve, temporarily override, or delay dispatching a contractor. Web-based reports document repeat alarms, to allow retailers to view equipment performance indicators such as alarm and dispatch data and take action before operations are affected. Retailers can also view total monthly savings from dispatch cost avoidance, making it easy to understand and quantify the service's value. Smart Dispatch can also track contractor reaction time in conjunction with alarm severity and repeat visits. — Emerson Climate Technologies
