Cooler Repair Tape is Washable and Mold Resistant
Venture Tape has released VentureClad 1577CW cooler repair tape, which sources say offers high performance in cold temperatures. VentureClad 1577CW is a zero perm, washable, conformable, mold resistant cooler repair tape that can be applied in temperatures well below zero. It's a derivative of Venture Tape's innovative VentureClad outdoor product and is specifically designed for refrigeration repair, making maintenance easier and helping facility owners avoid costly shut downs.

"We needed an adhesive that could work in cold temperatures and be easy to apply," says Jim Brennan, co-owner of Jadeco, Tampa, FL. His customers include Winn Dixie and Sweet Bay supermarkets. "We use VentureClad when we change out evaporators, to seal holes and to give a neat, clean, look. It holds really well, and we've seen no deterioration," Brennan says. VentureClad 1577CW is coated with Venture Tape's cold weather acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive system. Company sources say VentureClad combines quick stick at normal temperatures, with superior low temperature performance down to -10F.

Ice Cream Cabinet Has Digital Temperature Display
The new DD-LCG from Master-Bilt is a low, curved glass ice cream dipping cabinet with an attractive, contemporary design. The low curved glass allows for easy ice cream viewing by children, with brilliant interior LED lighting.

The DD-LCG Series comes standard with an electronic control that digitally displays inside temperature, decreases service time and eliminates the need for a room thermostat. A rear air intake and discharge eliminates the front grille and allows for graphics on the full front of the cabinet. The deluxe dipping cabinet is constructed with a stainless steel top, serving deck and attached superstructure. The unit's walls are 2-1/4-in. inches thick and foamed-in-place with urethane insulation. The DC-LCG Series is available in three models, with white painted steel interior and exterior. Options include removable can holders with overnight can covers, removable frost shields, and casters.
