Rapid Recovery Opens New Office in Houston

    Sept. 14, 2010
As Rapid Recovery opens its 19th location, sources say the company is changing the way refrigerant gets recovered across the nation.

Rapid Recovery, a nationwide refrigerant recovery company, has opened a new office in Houston, TX. As Rapid Recovery opens this, its 19th location, sources say the company is changing the way refrigerant gets recovered across the nation.

Rapid Recovery has locations from coast to coast, and has completed refrigerant recovery projects in 42 states.

Rapid Recovery sources believe the company has differentiated itself through their superior EPA documentation and service level.

“I hear it from our customers all the time. The EPA documentation we provide is not only vastly superior to the reporting provided by others but many of our customers weren’t even receiving documentation from their previous provider. It’s hard for me to fathom not being automatically provided with the necessary EPA documentation,” says Les Rhynard, national sales manager.

In addition, Rhynard believes the professionalism of their franchise owners, as well as the certified and uniformed technicians allow contractors to bring them on their jobsite knowing they will be well represented. Rapid Recovery prides itself on showing up on time with all the necessary safety equipment, ARI certified recovery equipment, as well as clean marked vehicles.

“We're a genuine service company to HVAC and demolition contractors as well as in house facilities departments and government agencies," Rhynard says. "We've succeeded because we focus on providing outstanding service and value added solutions to the customer.”

The Rapid Recovery team believes that as the burdens and expenses associated with refrigerant recovery continue to be realized, they're in a prime position to provide the solution. By allowing their customers to re-purpose their technician’s time to more productive work, Rapid Recovery is changing the attitude regarding refrigerant recovery.

“Our customers have realized that rather than an expensive chore, refrigerant recovery can be a profitable and easy revenue stream," Rhynard says. In Houston, Rapid Recovery’s value added services will be provided by Dave Mann and his team. Mann, who has resided in the Houston area for more than 40 years, will begin local operations in September and has already received a lot of interest in the Rapid Recovery program.

“As I made calls to potential customers, as part of my due diligence prior to purchasing the Rapid Recovery franchise, it became clear that the industry on a whole was looking for a better solution than what was currently available to them," Mann says. He has more than 30 years as a business owner and extensive experience providing solutions to his customers according to their needs.

Rapid Recovery (raprec.com) offers refrigerant recovery and abatement nationwide through its franchise network. Their customer base includes refrigeration and air conditioning contractors, refrigeration wholesale distributors, demolition contractors, DOD, landfill administrators and in-house service departments. It provides on-site refrigerant recovery solutions, including job-site refrigerant recovery, recovery cylinder service, and refrigerant disposal and documentation services.
