    ASHRAE Headquarters Rates LEED® Platinum Certification

    The headquarters for the Amercian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Atlanta, GA, has been certified as a LEED Platinum building. The designation was based on the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC's) New Construction 2.2 rating system.

    The building is one of only six buildings in the state of Georgia to receive a LEED Platinum rating, the highest certification the program offers.

    Trigon Refrigerant Group Now a Certified Reclaimer

    Trigon Refrigerant Group LLC, Sarasota, FL, has become an EPA certified refrigerant reclaimer. To become a certified reclaimer, the company had to meet stringent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements.

    Trigon Refrigerant cleans refrigerants to ARI-700 standards, as set by the American Refrigerant Institute. Jeffrey Wilkins is the plant manager.

    Trigon technicians hold EPA certifications. They test refrigerant using highly-advanced on-site laboratory equipment. The Trigon Refrigerant Group's technical staff has designed, engineered, and built a custom-made packing bench that completes the cycle. Newly-cleaned refrigerant is efficiently packaged in a variety of reusable and disposable cylinders for sale under the Trigon Refrigerant brand.
