    Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson, is giving HVACR contractors an opportunity to see what took place during the North American Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) show, held in February 2009.

    The website — EmersonClimate.com/NAFEM — features a complete overview of the Emerson Climate Technologies booth.

    Throughout the NAFEM show, Emerson Climate Technologies representatives interviewed original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to gather their candid feedback about various Emerson products, which are featured on the website.     ASHRAE Document Supports Development of Natural Refrigerants

    In a new position document, ASHRAE outlines its support for research, assessment, and strategic growth in the use of natural refrigerants. These include ammonia, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, air, and water.

    As the industry searches for alternatives that have low global-warming potential, natural refrigerants are gaining increased interest, according to ASHRAE sources.
