New Ball Valve Features Uni-body Design

Superior Refrigeration Products, Washington, PA, has released the KarolTech series of ball valves. The valve is designed to be compatible with current and ozone-friendly natural refrigerants, while incorporating the latest's advancements in manufacturing technology. The patented KarolTech ball valves feature Superiors' exclusive KAM uni-body design, that eliminates 75% of the potential leak areas associated with typical older designs. It's currently offered in sizes from ¼-in. to 1-1/8-in. ODS, with and without access fittings. The valve is suitable for temperature ratings from -40 to +300F. The KarolTech design allows for working pressures up to 700 PSIG. The valve is UL, C-UL and CE compliant.

Combustion Analyzer Comes with Replaceable Sensors

E-Instruments, Langhorne, PA, has released a newly updated BTU1100 Portable Combustion Analyzer. The all-in-one unit has been revised to meet the growing needs of mechanical contractors, plumbers, and boiler technicians. The analyzer is available with field replaceable sensors, for easy diagnostics and replacements to cut out downtime and costly repair charges. Also standard on this multifunctional unit is a durable, high-range carbon monoxide (CO) sensor, with built-in NOx filtration, to ensure the most accurate CO readings possible.
