• HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference Expanded to Three Days

    The HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference, hosted by HVAC Excellence, will be held March 31-April 2, 2014 at the South Point Hotel, Las Vegas, NV. The hotel room rate of $55 per night is available until February 26, or until the block of rooms sells out.

    HVAC Excellence is again hosting the annual HVACR Trainers and Educators Conference at the South Point Hotel, Las Vegas, NV. The event has been expanded to three days, March 31 to April 2, to maximize the attendees' educational experience. Attendees can select from more than 40 sessions by subject matter experts that are most relevant to the training each educator offers.  

    The exposition is a "must attend" event to learn about the latest innovations in: equipment, tools, test instruments, software, controls, refrigerants, recovery machines, curriculum, chemicals, tool kits, and industry certifications.

    This event includes daily lunches, keynote speakers, product exhibits, and prize raffles by vendors.

    The 40+ sessions will include:
    HVACR Controls & Sensors, by Joe Marchese, Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES). HVACR systems use a variety of sensors to monitor and control their operation. Marchese will provide instructors attending the ability to provide their students with the necessary information to properly troubleshoot common sensors used on many applications.

    Top Ways to Improve Training Skills, by Ken Willard, Leadership Training Camp. This session will cover the "Top Ways to Improve Your Skills" designed specifically for HVACR educators and trainers.

    Fighting the War on Work, by William Artis, Daikin. This presentation will focus on ways to recruit Generation Y into the HVACR industry.

    Customer Relations - The Missing Link in Technical Education, by Steve Coscia, Coscia Communications. The future workforce will require skills beyond technical and diagnostic methods. Attendees will learn best practices based on actual case studies and field research.

    Utilizing the Digital Age to Teach A Digital Curriculum, by Michael Chandlee, Goodman. Learn how to use todays methods, tools and techniques to teach a technical curriculum.

    Energy Audit -Duct Leakage, by Frank Spevak, Energy Conservatory. This session will cover the latest building code requirements for testing and sealing duct for both new construction and retrofit.
