• Long Distance Recruiting in 7 Simple Steps

    Dec. 14, 2016
If we put as much emphasis on hiring as we do on making sales and keeping customers happy, we will not have a hiring challenge.

Being in rural America complicates things. I cover 44,000 square miles outside the Las Vegas area. That adds up to a lot of cactuses and a limited hiring pool. It seems like all the local candidates have either already worked for us or are not qualified to work for us. As we continue to grow, we have learned to search across the country to bring talented team members in. We rely on these simple steps.

During my early career my mentor taught me that I needed to spend one-third of my time recruiting. Are you ready to be that serious?
