From Canada comes word of legislation from a member of the provincial parliament of Etobicoke Centre to ban "aggressive" door-to-door sale of water heaters, furnaces and air conditioning units.
"I have frequently heard about this issue of misleading, coercive and aggressive sales tactics being used by salespeople at the door," said Yvan Baker, a member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

Goettl Air Conditioning, a legendary HVAC business, has returned to Las Vegas, to serve the Las Vegas and Henderson areas. Goettl is also firmly established in Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz.
Goettl recently purchased Moore Air Conditioning, a 50-year-old business. Ken Goodrich, Goettle CEO has big plans: 50% growth in 2017, and 100 additional employees within one year.

Ken Goodrich purchased the Arizona company in 2013 and, in April 2016, brought it back to his hometown of Las Vegas, where his love of the Goettl product first began.
American Residential Services (ARS) the Memphis, Tenn.-based, privately-held national provider of air conditioning, heating and plumbing services, is working with the Tim Tebow Foundation and Fox TV show "HOME FREE," to help provide homes for deserving heroes.
ARS provided HVAC and plumbing services while homes were built for deserving heroes in the unscripted competition series. The program begins its second season Thursday, June 16 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
