All Munchkin stainless steel high efficiency boilers qualify for a $150 credit under the Federal Energy Policy Act of 2005. Manufactured by Heat Transfer Products, Munchkin residential boilers carry an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency rating of 95.1%, exceeding the 95% threshold to qualify for the credit. The units also meet Energy Star standards, as defined by the U.S. Department of Energy.
Made of 316L stainless steel, the highly compact Munchkin boiler couples condensing technology with a modulating burner to maximize energy efficiency:
The unit’s corrosion-resistant, stainless steel heat exchanger features an extensive series of individual, baffled water circuits whose large surface areas are designed to extract all the latent energy from the combustion process, as well as from the by-products of that process.
