Aquatherm on Forbes' Most Promising List

Dec. 5, 2011
Annual revenue has more than doubled during the 2011 fiscal year.

Aquatherm, Inc. was selected as one of “America’s Most Promising Companies" on Forbes magazine’s exclusive list of only 100 companies nationwide. Making this distinction more impressive is that while Forbes used financial data 2008 to 2010, the polypropylene pipe company’s annual revenue has more than doubled during the 2011 fiscal year.

Aquatherm, Inc., the North American partner of Aquatherm GmbH, markets and supports the German-manufactured polypropylene-random (PP-R) pipe systems which are rapidly being integrated into a huge variety of plumbing, HVAC, and industrial pipe applications throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The Forbes list Forbes’ list of America’s Most Promising Companies features 100 privately held up-and-comers with compelling business models, strong management teams, notable customers, strategic partners and precious investment capital. Ranked 76th overall, Aquatherm – and its burgeoning manufacturer’s representative/distribution network – are succeeding in conveying the myriad benefits of the pipe to those specifying pipe systems at high profile installations such as high-rises, military bases, schools and universities, hospitals, LEED residences, and more.

“With the numerous advantages Aquatherm offers, our job comes down to educating the market and supporting the product. It’s not a new product – it’s just new to North America and has been proven worldwide for decades,” said Aquatherm president Steve Clark. “We’ve experienced tremendous, rapid success in North American and it is fantastic to be recognized, but we certainly are not resting on our laurels. Our product enhances the built environment and our mission of spreading word of Aquatherm’s benefits is just beginning," Clark said.
