The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) will hold its 2006 Annual Conference at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, GA on Oct. 3 -7. Highlights of this year’s conference include several educational sessions, including one titled “Take the Fear Out of 13 SEER.”
Led by Bill Spohn, HVACR product manager for Testo Inc., the session will cover the tools and techniques that deliver the rated performance of any air-conditioning system every time. Attendees will see firsthand how contractors are getting quick, easy and affordable laboratory accurate results in the field. Actual field data from contractor studies will be presented during this session.
Spohn also serves as chairman of the Gas Detection and Analysis Committee for the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association and is the president of the Oil Heat Manufacturers Association. Spohn has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester.
In addition to attending educational sessions, RSES conference attendees can take Certificate Member, Certificate Member Specialist, EPA Refrigerant Usage certification, and North American Technician Excellence certification exams during the RSES Annual Conference.
