Trane and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning have lengthened many of their brands’ limited warranties, and have made it much easier to register warranties.
Spokespeople for the companies say the changes reflect a continued commitment to product quality, durability, and reliability, and offer more reasons for consumers to purchase those products during the economic downturn.
The new, limited warranties will be available for residential equipment installed in residential applications in either a Base Limited or Registered Limited Warranty.
“Thanks to the changes and enhancements we’re announcing today, we’re able to provide consumers with the most competitive limited warranties both brands have ever offered,” says Dave Pannier, president, residential systems. “In addition, we’re also retaining the competitive edge for our dealers during the sales process. In today’s market, the new warranties reflect our commitment to providing dealers with a valuable point of difference, while also offering customers a renewed sense of security and peace of mind.”
Consumers, dealers, or builders can register eligible Trane and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning products by visiting trane.com or americanstandardair.com.
