Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson, announced several appointments within its White-Rodgers division.
The moves are designed to strengthen customer relations, and allow the division to continue its forward-looking focus on new and emerging HVAC technologies, including thermostats, wireless technology and indoor air quality.
Steve Carey, director of product management, leads a team focused on creating a comprehensive product line offering benefits through the entire customer chain.
Geoff Godwin joins White-Rodgers as vice president of marketing. Godwin and his team are responsible for identifying and prioritizing business opportunities, developing short and long term plans and working alongside the sales organization to execute those plans for future growth.
Ron Miles becomes vice president of aftermarket sales. Miles is responsible for directing the efforts of the division’s contractor and wholesaler sales forces.
David Sain joins White-Rodgers as director of project management. Sain is responsible for overseeing new product development activities.
Bill Shockley, vice president of OEM sales, is responsible for overseeing relationships with HVAC and appliance OEM customers, including leading the charge in educating those customers on electronics and communicating systems.
Jay Wirts, director of residential marketing, is responsible for understanding market dynamics and their implications to the business, as well as implementing customer input into product development.
