Paul Goodwin, III has been named president of Coastal Mechanical Services, LLC, Melbourne FL. Coastal Mechanical Services is the 2009 ContractingBusiness.com Commercial Contractor of the Year.
As president, Goodwin will oversee this $80 million business and 500 employees serving in five branches across Florida.
Goodwin is a graduate of the University of Florida, M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction. He joined Coastal Mechanical Services in 1998 as an assistant project manager. He was promoted to vice president, operations and became a principal owner in 2008.
Goodwin also oversees Coastal Mechanical Special Projects, a division of Coastal Mechanical Services. He has vast construction experience, including hospitals, schools, and hotels. He currently is supervising several Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) projects in Florida, including Hernando High School, in Weeki Wachee, and Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans Nursing Home, in St. Augustine.
