A golf tournament sponsored by Quality Service Contractors raised more than $20,000 for Challenge Air for Kids and Friends, an aviation program that benefits physically challenged children and youth.
The monies raised by QSC for Challenge Air over the last two and one-half years now totals more than $54,000.
The golf tournament — held in St. Pete Beach, FL, before the start of the QSC's Power Meeting XXIV — was sponsored by QSC Industry Partner, Hodes Co., which paid for all the golfing fees, lunch, and refreshments.
QSC members paid a $175 registration fee to play. The money raised will be used toward operating costs associated with Challenge Air "Fly Days" events, which are held in various locations across the U.S.
Besides the tournament registration fees, additional donations were made by many QSC members.
