The Michigan Association of RSES will host its semiannual educational conference on April 22, 2006 at the Bavarian Inn Conference Facility in Frankenmuth, Mich.
Topics to be explored during the educational session include: the facts about R-410A; what makes using R-410A different; the alternatives to R-22 other than R-410A; R-410A cylinder safety concerns; the use of Pressure-Enthalpy diagrams to compare the differences between R-22 and R-410A systems, in order to have a better understanding of why R-410A is the refrigerant of choice by most original equipment manufacturers; using the P-E diagram as a troubleshooting tool to ensure that your system is operating at its maximum efficiency; and where R-410A stands in respect to the SEER 13 standard.
attendees will have the opportunities to take EPA Section 608 Certification, North American Technician Excellence Core and Specialty, RSES Certificate Member, and RSES Certificate Member Specialist exams.
