PB Heat, LLC, manufacturer of residential and commercial, gas and oil-fired boilers recently created a new department at their headquarters in Bally, PA. The Department of Applied Technology will be devoted to researching and developing new heating technology, as well as training for the new products.
David Scearce, most recently Special Project Engineer for Peerless Boilers was named director of the newly created department. A Licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in project management and design engineering, Scearce has more than 15 years experience in design, application and sales of boiler and energy systems.
Gerry Hogan, a former New England area manufacturer’s representative, has joined Peerless as director of training. He will lead new product training, develop and conduct all company training seminars and develop training for Peerless’ network of manufacturer’s representatives, distributors and contractors. Hogan will also concentrate his efforts on high-efficiency products, global warming issues, government changes, etc. and the influences of these topics on current and new product development. A magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University, Hogan additionally holds several industry licenses and certifications.
