Joseph S. Groh Foundation Announces New Board Member and Grant Recipients
Fairview, TX -- May 21, 2024 The Joseph S Groh Foundation announced the appointment of a new board member, Tawnya Strittmatter. Tawnya joined her husband’s family HVAC contracting business in 2010 for what was to be a temporary assignment. Working with her husband Joe, they added plumbing to their repertoire and achieved sustained growth of 50% year over year.
Tawnya Strittmatter is now a coach for Service Nation, helping contractors achieve their growth and profitability goals.
“Tawnya’s presence on the board reflects a broadening of industry diversity on our board,” said founder Joe Groh. We look forward to working with Tawnya to drive awareness, fundraising and the provision of grants by the foundation to members of the HVAC, and plumbing industry.”
Through May 2024, the Joseph S. Groh Foundation has provided $1.7 million in funding for 117 families in 34 states since their founding in 2009. These individuals were employed in the HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general contracting industries. Funding for these individuals includes items ranging from wheelchair accessible vans and home and bathroom models to assistive technology and rehabilitative equipment, home repairs and more.
