Air 1 Heating Inc., a full service heating and cooling contractor providing furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, rooftop units, refrigeration, and gas piping installation, repair, and maintenance for commercial and residential clients, was awarded the contract to design/build a 38-ton HVAC system for the construction of a new 13,000-sq.ft. sporting goods retail store opening here.
Air 1 Heating is providing the complete installation of all equipment, venting, ducting, and gas piping. The equipment being used includes Lennox Emergence LGH single-package gas heating/electric cooling rooftop units (RTUs), a QMark electric heater, Greenheck exhaust fans, and Honeywell thermostats.
The scope of work includes removing and disposing of old RTUs in accordance with applicable codes and ordinances; installing curb adapters with new supply/return drops; installing new Lennox RTUs; redoing the gas piping to the building; and installing ductwork and exhaust venting.
A Honeywell WEB-201 system controls the building. The WEB-201 is a compact, embedded controller/server platform.
