Davis Energy Group, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and Synapse Electronique have joined the ClimateTalk Alliance, a non-profit organization building a universal language for innovative, cost-effective solutions that optimize performance, efficiency and home comfort.
ClimateTalk Open Standards have been built on the application and industry expertise of leading HVAC, water heating and zoning manufacturers. The ClimateTalk standard is designed specifically for the residential market to enable plug and play connectivity and interoperability of the mechanical systems in the home. The addition of these members strengthens the Alliance in wireless connectivity and controls, and the participation of HVAC equipment — the largest consumers of energy — in the Smart Grid.
