Danfoss Turbocor Releases TT400 380V Compressor
Danfoss Turbocor Compressors Inc. announces the production release of the TT400 series compressor with 380V 50Hz and 60Hz power supply. Similar to the other TT series compressors, the TT400 380V 50Hz and 60Hz models are oil-free, variable-speed, magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors. They use HFC-134a refrigerant for an optimum environmental solution and provide outstanding part load and full load efficiency. These compressors are lightweight, emit low sound and vibration, include self-contained intelligent controls, and utilize a small footprint compared to other compressor technologies. The TT400 380V 50Hz and 60Hz models were designed to expand the product portfolio and provide energy efficient HVAC compressors for 380V markets such as China. The TT400 380V compressors are UL certified.

Air-cooled Condenser Reduces Refrigerant Charge by 70%
Heatcraft Refrigeration Products has released a new air-cooled condenser with microchannel coil technology. Sources report its design lowers refrigerant charge by more than 70%. The condensor features a variable speed EC motor that helps maximize energy efficiency. Its design also includes an all-aluminum microchannel coil design that offers improved corrosion resistance for a longer-lasting, more durable product – even in coastal environments. It also features an innovative sound reduction technology that lowers sound pressure by more than 50%, resulting in a quieter product. The condenser fits within the same basic footprint as comparable products, eliminating the need for major changes to building design. In addition to supermarket applications, the air-cooled condenser is suitable for customers within the cold-storage and telecommunications industries, as well as a variety of other industries. This new condenser is available under the BOHN, Larkin, Climate Control and Chandler brands.
