Emerson Climate Technologies Retail Solutions, Inc., has released a new version of its E2 Facility Management Controller for retail environments. The new firmware version for E2 3.05 and E2 4.05 offers several enhancements to give users increased functionality and capabilities. The E2 Facility Management Controller version 4.05 has improved localized language capability to enable use of the E2 globally. Firmware versions 3.05 and 4.05 deliver enhanced summary screens for the roof top unit control boards and discharge air control applications, giving users more information to better monitor and troubleshoot applications quickly. Emerson’s E2 3.05 and E2 4.05 also enable multiple I/O Networks on a single E2 controller.

Danfoss Turbocor Expands Centrifugal Compressor Line
At the 2013 AHR Expo, Danfoss Turbocor Compressors Inc. (DTC) announced a significant expansion of its products and services. The latest expansion of Danfoss Turbocor’s line of oil-free, magnetic bearing variable speed centrifugal compressors includes: • Launch of the TT350 380-volt compressor, specifically targeted for fast growing markets such as China, India, Russia, and Brazil. • A 575-Volt version of the TT400 compressor for the Canadian market. In 2012, the 380-volt version of the TT400 compressor was recognized with an Honorable Mention in the cooling category of the prestigious AHR Expo Innovation Awards. • The commercialization of TG310 compressors, which were released as a developmental prototype in early 2012. The compressors utilize the ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP), zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) refrigerant HFO-1234ze, trade-named Solstice L13 by Honeywell. — Danfoss Turbocor
