Women in HVACR seeks to improve the lives of its members by providing professional avenues for women employed in the HVACR industry to grow their careers. It empowers women to succeed through networking opportunities, mentoring, and education.
On April 25, WHVACR will hold a Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting & Educational Session at Airco Supply, 8860 Gorman Rd., Laurel, MD. There will be breakfast, and a morning of educational and industry updates.
Speakers will be David Calabrese, AHRI general counsel and senior vice president of policy; and Warren Linnerooth, senior design engineer and project manager for Harvey W. Hottel, Inc., a leading Maryland HVACR and plumbing contractor, who will provide insight into the growth of the geothermal industry and geothermal applications.
Early registration is encouraged, due to limited space. The event is free to WHVACR members. Cost for non-members is only $10. There will be drawings for a Cooper-Atkins digital pocket thermometer and cordless pipe clamp thermistor.
