Observer WiFi Communicating Control Introduced Across ICP Brands

April 9, 2015

Developed by International Comfort Products (ICP), the Comfortmaker Observer Communicating Control with Wi-Fi capability provides on-the-go scheduling and comfort control features when installed as part of a complete Comfortmaker Observer heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) system and connected to the Internet. The control is available on new Comfortmaker, Tempstar, Heil, and Arcoaire products.

The Observer Communicating Control provides mobile access to the Comfortmaker home comfort system from virtually anywhere. Its integrated Wi-Fi technology makes installation easy for dealers and comfort control convenient for homeowners.

Dealers will appreciate the control’s easy installation, which is a simple four-wire connection.

HVAC contractors can program the thermostat to provide their business name, address and other contact information when homeowners need assistance with routine system maintenance or cleaning.

With homeowner permission, dealers can receive emails when the system needs service, including equipment service alerts.

Homeowners can now control their home comfort systems with select smartphones and tablet devices and the “My Observer” mobile application from anywhere with Internet access.
