Repeated use of hammers can result in sore elbows and forearm muscles, leading to two of the most frequent concerns with today’s hammers: vibration and swing balance. Each new Milwaukee hammer features a newly developed handle for vibration reduction and is precision-balanced for better driving performance.
Constructed with a steel I-beam handle, the new framing hammers are designed with a SHOCKSHIELD grip for grip durability and vibration reduction. For added user benefit, the framing hammers feature an asymmetrical anti-ring claw design which reduces noise and ringing when striking hardened objects. The addition of a magnetic nail set provides the added benefit of being able to set and drive a nail with one hand.
Also included in Milwaukee’s new Hammer lineup is a 19 oz. Poly Fiber Hammer, which is designed with a durable poly/fiberglass handle and over-molded to help prevent it from slipping out of the user’s hands during use. Similar to the rest of the lineup, the Poly Fiber Hammer is precision-balanced, has an asymmetrical anti-ring claw design, as well as magnetic nail set.
