RECALL: Goodman Evaporator Coil Drain Pans Installed with Condensing Gas Furnaces

The Consumer Products Safety Commission and Goodman Manufacturing have issued a product recall of certain molded plastic evaporator coil drain pans that were sold from approximately January 2019 through November 2021.

The molded plastic drain pan located at the bottom of the evaporator coil, when installed with a residential condensing gas furnace in an up-flow configuration, can overheat, melt, and deform, posing a fire hazard.
