SWEEPSTAKES OPEN ONLY TO EMPLOYED MEMBERS OF THE CONTRACTING TRADE WHO ARE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF UNITED STATES (EXCEPT RESIDENTS OF ALASKA & HAWAII) AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE ATTENDEES AT AHR EXPO 2024, IN CHICAGO, WHO COMPLETELY AND ACCURATELY COMPLETE THE OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM (SEE “HOW TO ENTER” AND “ELIGIBILITY” BELOW) AND ARE 18 OR OLDER AS OF JANUARY 24, 2024 (OR AT LEAST 19, IF IN ALABAMA AND NEBRASKA, OR 21 IF IN MISSISSIPPI) (APPLICABLE QUALIFYING AGE EACH AN “ENTRANT”). NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
1. How to Enter: Contracting Business, CONTRACTOR, HPAC Engineering’s E-Bike Sweepstakes begins at 10:00 AM CT 1/22/2024 and ends 2:00 PM CT 1/24/24. One way to enter: a) Automatic Entry Via OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM ONLY: You will be automatically entered into the Contracting Business, CONTRACTOR, HPAC Engineering’s E-Bike Sweepstakes when you: 1. Legibly sign and handprint your name, email, and phone number; 2. Have your show badge scanned at the Endeavor Business Media booth #S6716; 3. Answer the questions on the OFFICIAL ENTRY CARD, and; 4. Have your official entry card "stamped" by each participating sponsor exhibiting at AHR Expo 2024, BY JANUARY 24, 2024 (BY 2:00 PM) at McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago, IL, location of the AHR EXPO 2024. Completed official entry forms can only be obtained and accepted at the Endeavor Business Media booth (#S6716) during trade show exhibit hours: Upon receipt of your fully completed OFFICIAL ENTRYFORM, you will receive an automatic entry into the Sweepstakes. Entries become the property of Sponsor(s) and will not be returned. Employees of Sponsors, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and their family/household members (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) are not eligible to enter. Void outside the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, and where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. All federal, state and/or local rules and regulations apply.
2. Eligibility: SWEEPSTAKES OPEN ONLY TO EMPLOYED MEMBERS OF THE CONTRACTING TRADE WHO ARE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF UNITED STATES (EXCEPT RESIDENTS OF ALASKA & HAWAII) AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE ATTENDEES AT AHR EXPO 2024, CHICAGO, IL and are of qualifying age AS OF January 24, 2024, and whose company’s policies allow participation in such sweepstakes/promotions. Employees (and their immediate family and household members) of Endeavor Business Media, Merit Brass, NIBCO, Inc., Rotobrush, and their respective divisions, dealerships, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, advertising and promotion agencies and all other entities or individuals associated with the development, administration, or fulfillment of this Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sponsors, et al”) are not eligible to enter.
3. Drawing: The name of the potential Winner will be selected on 1/24/24 at APPROXIMATELY 2:00 PM CT in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received by Sponsor(s), whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Neither Sponsor nor Endeavor Business Media is responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic, including, but not limited to, bugs or malfunctions, that Entrants may encounter when submitting an entry or participating in the Sweepstakes. The Potential Winner will be notified by telephone, email and registered U.S. mail within approximately 14 days of drawing and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance & Publicity/ Liability Release within ten business (10) days of date of mailing of notification by Sponsor or Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Potential Winner will be selected. Prize will be awarded shortly thereafter however SPONSOR is not and will not be held responsible for delivery delays.
4. Prize & Odds of Winning: Grand Prize (3): One Grand Prize Winner will receive monetary credit of the equivalent value of a $2,500 each (US) Gift Card (“Prize”), ARV $2500 that MUST be used at Village Cycle Center, Chicago, IL toward the purchase of any merchandise. Endeavor Business Media (as “Promotion Operator”) will designate the location and delivery date of Prize. Prize shown in any promotional materials, or on display, is for illustration purposes only; prize awarded to Winner may differ. All other details of the Prize not stated herein are at the sole discretion of the Promotion Operator. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Value is subject to market condition, which can fluctuate, and any difference between actual market value and ARV will not be awarded. No cash option or substitution of prizes is available. No expenses incurred directly by the winner will be reimbursed by sponsors. Winner is responsible for all Federal, state, and local taxes and all other costs and expenses not specifically stated above, including but not limited to registration, license, title, delivery charges, destination charges, shipping costs, license plate fees, transfer costs, insurance fees and the cost of any upgrades, optional equipment, or changes made to the Prize after the award of the Prize except as may be otherwise expressly provided for above. Odds of winning depend on the total number of all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of Entrants. Each Entrant selected as a potential winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements.
5. Internet and Promotion Operation: No internet entries are allowed in this promotion. Promotion Operator, et al., are not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer transmissions or jumbled, scrambled or misdirected entries or transmissions; phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties; other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic or for any damage to any person’s computer related to participating in the promotion nor for illegible, unintelligible, late, lost or stolen entries or entries that cannot for whatever reason be downloaded or incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human errors which may occur in the processing of any entries in this promotion. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this promotion, as solely determined by Promotion Operator, will be disqualified and may be subject to prosecution. If in the judgment of endeavor Business Media, the promotion is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Endeavor Business Media, which corrupts the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the promotion, Promotion Operator reserves the right, in its sole discretion to discontinue, suspend or terminate the promotion and conduct the random drawing to select potential winners from among all eligible entries received as of the date of its termination of the promotion. Any personally identifiable information collected during your participation in this promotion will be collected by Promotion Operator and used by Promotion Operator and sponsors for the purposes of magazine circulation development. This information may also be used by Sponsors for promotional and marketing activity purposes and will not be shared with any other parties except as allowed by law. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE PROMOTION OPERATOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared/made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
6. General: Void in AK, HI, and PR, and where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winner agrees that his/her name, photograph, videotape, likeness or statement may be used for advertising and for publicity purposes in any media for Promotion Operator, the Sponsors and that their agents so determine without any further compensation, except where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. Any entry blanks or other materials that are incomplete, illegible, altered, counterfeited, or tampered with or obtained other than through legitimate and authorized sources are void. Promotion Operator, et al., shall not be responsible for illegible, damaged, lost, late, stolen, postage due, incomplete, undelivered/undeliverable or misdirected entries. By participating, each Winner releases Promotion Operator and Sponsors, et al. from any and all liability, whether personal or property, whether directly or indirectly, for all injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including death) arising out of, or in connection with the possession, acceptance, enjoyment, use/misuse of the Prize or arising out of participation in this promotion; and entrant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys’ fees or any damages other than actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to enter. Promotion Operator and Sponsors MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS REGARDS MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING THE PRIZE OR ANY COMPONENT PART OF ANY PRIZE. The laws of the State of Illinois shall govern the interpretation of these Official Rules. Any and all disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the State of Tennessee exclusively, and subject to the laws of the State of Tennessee. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Tennessee and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Tennessee.
7. Affidavit of Eligibility/Release: The winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where lawful, a Publicity Release within 14 days of prize notification. If the winner cannot be contacted within 10 calendar days of first notification attempt, if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if winner rejects his/her prize or in the event of noncompliance with these Sweepstakes rules and requirements, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Limit one prize per person.
8. Use of Data: Endeavor Business Media will be collecting personal data about Entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy, which is hereby incorporated herein. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant hereby agrees to Endeavor Business Media’s collection, processing and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Endeavor Business Media’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
