In late September, Burnham Hydronics hosted its annual Media Day in Lancaster, PA, where company officials introduced their new approach to the marketplace with a number of product and service announcements. Division President Denis Marino kicked the event off by defining the companys new spirit, new look, and new customer commitment. "Our goal," Marino said, "is to continue to grow the business through customer relationships, effective programs, and inseason product availability."
To that end, the company has invested heavily in re-tooling and modernizing their manufacturing facilities, foundry, and processes in their four manufacturing facilities and state-oftheart foundry.
Relationship building is a multitiered effort, spotlighted by the Burnham Roadshow, a mobile training and exhibit showcase that criss-crosses the country, bringing gas-fired and oil-fired boiler service training to contractor customers through Burnham's distribution partners.
The company also announced plans for its third annual Roundtable, where contractors , wholesalers, distributors, builders, and architects gather to open lines of communication, explore trends, and share information.
In 2004, they introduced four new radiant heat distribution lines as well as their new high efficiency Revolution II gas boiler. According to Marino, there is still more to come, including the opening of the new Burnham Hydronics Parts Center.
Known as Hydrosource, the center is stocked to the rafters with boiler parts, ready and waiting to be shipped out as needed. This means faster shipments for customers, better parts availability to their distributionwholesaler chain.
