B&J Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Celebrates Groundbreaking of New Facility
WILSON, North Carolina — B&J Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is expanding from 3,000 square feet into an 11,000-square-foot custom facility after quadrupling its team from 20 to 63 employees. With 25–30% annual growth over the past four years, the company outgrew its headquarters and began operating partially from rented church rooms — until now.
The new facility, launching next year during B&J’s 50th anniversary, will consolidate operations, provide a dedicated technician training center, and house an in-house inventory to beat regional supply chain slowdowns — giving B&J a competitive edge in speed and service.
This milestone not only celebrates half a century in business, but also redefines what locally owned, employee-first trades businesses can accomplish in North Carolina’s post-pandemic economy.
B&J will be in a better location that can accommodate all of its vehicles, office staff, company meetings, and visitors/customers, the company says.
