Schofield, WI — American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) President Sheila Hayter, P.E. recently toured Greenheck’s Schofield, Wisconsin campus as part of her visit to Wisconsin ASHRAE Chapters. Hayter toured the Bernard A. Greenheck Education Center, the Robert C. Greenheck Innovation Center and one of Greenheck’s manufacturing facilities, and addressed Greenheck ASHRAE members and staff at a luncheon.

Sheila Hayter, P.E., is ASHRAE’s President for the 2018-2019 term. Hayter has previously served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer, two terms as Vice President, and Director-at-Large. She is the recipient of ASHRAE's Distinguished Service Award, Exceptional Service Award, and an ASHRAE Technology Award. She is an ASHRAE Fellow and a Distinguished Lecturer.
With more than 57,000 members from over 132 nations, ASHRAE is a diverse organization representing building system design and industrial processes professionals around the world. In addition to her ASHRAE leadership role, Hayter is currently group manager within the Integrated Application Center (IAC) at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), leading a team of technical and policy experts who support international, federal, state and local entities on energy efficiency and renewable energy topics.
