    F.E. Moran Company Receives MCAA Safety Award

    Mechanical Contractors of America (MCAA) has presented F.E. Moran with a Safety Award for their 2013 safety statistics. F.E. Moran's averages in fatalities, OSHA Recordable Incidence Rates, and Lost Workday Cases Incidence Rates were far below the averages.
    Mechanical Contractors of America (MCAA) has presented F.E. Moran company of Northbrook, IL, with a Safety Award for the contractor's 2013 safety statistics. In three categories — fatalities, OSHA Recordable Incidence Rates, and Lost Workday Cases Incidence Rates — F.E. Moran’s statistics were far below the averages, scoring 0 in two of the categories, in the 100,001 to 250,000 work hour category.

    The MCAA — based in Rockville, MD — awards companies in the HVACR, plumbing, piping, and mechanical services industries for above average safety statistics. It initiated the program to encourage a safer working environment.

    The five categories included in this award program are
    100,000 work hours or less;
    100,001-250,000 work hours;
    250,001-400,000 work hours;
    400,001-1,000,000 work hours;
    1,000,001+ work hours.

    The MCAA serves 2,500 HVAC, plumbing and mechanical services firms, and provides its members with education to bring them to the pinnacle of managerial and technical capability.

    F.E. Moran has been a full-service mechanical contractor, providing HVAC systems for the commercial, education, healthcare, industrial/manufacturing, and residential markets since 1957 in the Chicagoland area.
