The strength of HARDI's updated strategic plan is its simplicity. The Strategic Planning Committee clearly defined four pillars of the association, which easily direct what the committees, councils and staff do; and why an HVACR wholesale distributor should belong. HARDI's mission for 2010 and beyond is "to promote and strengthen the HVACR wholesale distribution channel." HARDI will accomplish this based on the strength of its four pillars: education, benchmarking, advocacy and network/idea exchange.
Through intense focus and dedication to these four pillars, HARDI believes the stature, value and importance of HVACR wholesale distributors will reach new heights in the eyes of suppliers, customers, government and energy-efficiency interests. The Strategic Planning Committee also recognizes that the association's success on these fronts is entirely dependent on the involvement and enthusiasm of its members, so every committee and council is re-evaluating how they can better involve more of the membership in their important initiatives.
