The new Trane XB300 provides the power and performance expected from Trane, but in a new compact design.

The new Trane XB300 provides the power and performance expected from Trane, but in a new compact design. While the XB300 is smaller and lighter, it has been put through the same rigorous design, testing and manufacturing process as every other Trane product. The unit is designed to be reliable, year-after-year.

“In today’s challenging economy, many people are spending less, but demanding the same level of quality from the brands they trust,” says Dale Green, vice president and general manager, dealer and distributor channel, Trane Residential Solutions. “The Trane XB300 provides a new option for builders focused on new construction and multifamily housing. In addition, it provides consumers with peace of mind and brand awareness without sacrificing reliability.”

The Trane XB300 features:
--The Climatuff® compressor: The same compressor found in other Trane air conditioners, which ensures a more reliable, longer-lasting and higher-efficiency unit.
--Climatuff™ coil: All aluminum construction resists corrosion from the elements. Eliminating copper tubes also prevents bimetallic corrosion that can reduce the life of the coil.
--Compact design: Built to occupy a smaller footprint, allowing it to be easily installed in places where space is at a premium.
--Manual Charge Assist™: Helping to ensure the correct system charge every time, so customers get the efficiency and performance they are expecting.
--Registered Limited Warranty: Protected by Trane’s Registered Limited Warranty that includes 10 years on the compressor and coil, and five years on all other parts.

“The smaller and lighter size of the XB300 represents a new level of portability and ease of installation for our dealers,” adds Green. “Not only can the Trane XB300 be easily transported in a van or pickup truck, but now installation can be a one-person job.”
