Ritchie Engineering Company, Inc., the leader in service tools for HVACR professionals and manufacturer of YELLOW JACKET® products, announces the launch of YELLOW JACKET University (www.yellowjacketuniversity.com), a new website dedicated to delivering HVACR service tools and equipment education and information.
YJU is launching with four main content areas:
1. Videos. Currently stocked with four training videos—Refrigeration System Analyzer, refrigerant recovery, evacuation and charging, tubing tools—and introducing four new “quick tip” videos. These short videos will answer many of YELLOW JACKET’s most often asked questions. Videos will be added on a regular basis.
2. Articles. The current list of articles covers everything from selecting the right tools for a job to preparing for R-410A. Site visitors are able to comment, ask questions and engage in discussions with fellow technicians on every article.
3. Q&As. The YELLOW JACKET customer service team answers hundreds of questions from technicians every day, and we intend to share answers to the questions most often asked. Site visitors are able to comment on answers and submit their own questions.
4. Ideas Center. Technicians are a great resource for HVACR service tools and equipment ideas and improvements. Over the years, many customer ideas have been integrated into YELLOW JACKET product upgrades and improvements. The Ideas Center encourages site visitors to keep sharing product improvement ideas, new product suggestions, and even customer service and web suggestions.
“Over the years, we’ve found that many technicians turn to us to learn how to get the best performance out of their HVACR tools and equipment,” said Brian Flynn, executive vice president of Ritchie Engineering. “It just makes sense to expand that relationship with technicians and turn our large collection of educational resources into a dedicated educational site.”
Future plans for the site include adding more videos, articles and Q&As, and providing courses on popular HVACR topics.
