Progress Supply Inc., a leading Southwest Ohio air conditioning, refrigeration and controls wholesaler, has appointed Gary Sparks as its new President and Chief Operating Officer. Sparks will assume his new post immediately.
In announcing the appointment, Mark Faessler, who will remain principal owner and Chief Executive Officer, said “Our business is changing rapidly with the new technologies now available to us, and expanding as we add new, advanced product lines. Because of this, we needed to expand our leadership capability to monitor the company’s growth effectively as we move forward.”
Sparks was formerly the General Manager of Northern Kentucky based Louis Trauth Dairy. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Business and earned his CPA certification in 1983. Sparks also serves as a member of the St. Elizabeth Hospital Audit Committee, is a board member of PLAN of Southwest Ohio, an active supporter and mentor for the Mathis Foundation for Children and on the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors.
